Message from the Social Prefects
Kia Ora School,
Welcome to the Social tab of the Horowhenua College Prefect website. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we can not organize social gatherings, however we do still have hopes for our school ball. On top of this we are also responsible for organizing the leaver's jersey and leaver's dinner. Stay posted for information regarding these things.
Year 9 Welcome Dance
We had a successful night welcoming our Year 9 students to our college with a welcome dance/pool party. The pool party was good, we had no drownings and the students enjoyed fun games and music! We handed out spot prizes for the best dancers, and some of our chocolate prizes were stolen too.....
Year 13 Camp, Round 1.
We had an awesome two days at Matau Marae on Clay Rd, where we had numerous house competitions, Rata won the karaoke but Kowhai won the whole camp. Enjoy some photos to the right of our experience.
Year 13 Mufti
Year 13 Mufti was a hit! We had a theme of Character Dressup and this was shown through George from IT, a ghostbuster, Mario from mariokart, superman and Minnie Mouse. The winner of best dressed was Carter Maddock with her impression of Mario. Our next and final mufti day theme will be gender swap.
